Green pool in Rio. You heard it hear first... it is iron! They re saying it is algae, but algae rarely grows indoor because it is a plant and requires sunlight to grow. There is a screw / bolt / nut somewhere in the system (in the filter, the shell, pump baskets, etc) that is corroded as heck. The reason it looks greener than normal is due to the depth of the pool.
