POOL SCHOOL 101

Pools need 3 things in order to operate at maximum efficiency:

1. Equipment

Pump and filter must be working efficiently and provide filtered water to your pool.


2. Water Chemistry

The following components make up your water chemistry: Alkalinity, pH, calcium hardness, minerals, and dissolved solids.

3. Sanitizer

Chlorine, bromine, algaecides etc. is what is used to disinfect, shock and control algae in your pool
